He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Dental School. He continues to stay current through ongoing education and professional development.
Dr. Thompson is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Stanislaus Dental Society, and has served on the society's Peer Review Committee.
